Survive This Plague If You Know The Secret

 When I first read Zachariah 14:12, it was frightening. Zachariah’s prophecy was a verbal description of the images I had seen while viewing the aftermath of the atomic bomb on the people of Hiroshima Japan during World War 2.

The scenes were heartbreaking. To imagine that could happen to me and my family was unthinkable. But then I found a way to protect myself and my family.

Zachariah said, “and this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem: their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume way in their holes, and their tongues shall consume away in their mouth.”

What a horrible description of a radiation plague . The thought was mind blowing. But the pictures taken of the people at Hiroshima showed this very thing. At the time, I thought “No one is crazy enough start an atomic war.”

Today atomic weapons are no longer our only concern. We have hundreds of nuclear power plants throughout the world. Atomic energy is the modern source of electricity because it is cleaner than coal.

Atomic energy may be cleaner, but it can be more deadly. The Internet lists eight nuclear disasters since 1957. Including Chernobyl Russia, (1986) 3-mile Island USA (1979), and Tokaimura Japan (1999) These disasters point to the fact that Zachariah’s prophecy about a radiation plague is a very real threat.

In addition, we face the risk of terrorists exploding dirty(radioactive) bombs. These explosions can destroy individual buildings or whole cities. This kind of attack would release radioactive particles into our air or water.

Today, it’s not enough to avoid living near a nuclear power plant or praying that our enemies, both foreign and domestic, don’t use radioactive weapons to terrorize and create a radiation plague.

It is impossible to prevent evil people from trying to destroy our lives and homes. But we can take preventative measures to protect our family, should radiation be released into our air or water.     

If taken in the first few hours after your exposure, potassium iodide tablets can prevent radiation poisoning.

Potassium iodide helps block radioactive iodine from being absorbed by the thyroid gland, thus protecting the gland from radiation injury. It is best taken within an hour or two of exposure.

Therefore, having some on hand seems a good idea as part of your emergency preparedness plan.  It is readily available without a prescription from suppliers like Walmart and Amazon, at prices as low as $5.00.

Well, I am seeing the signs the Bible predicted. But I believe, IF I am prepared, I do not need to be troubled or afraid. If you are prepared, you can protect yourself and your family. A radiation plague can be survived. Now you know the secret, why not do it?
